Yep, I would be cracked out if art was a drug!!! I can't stop, I won't stop until the day I die. I'm trying to be the first artist to o.d. on art. If not the first, I would be just as proud to be known as one of the few who has died doing what he or she loves to do.

I have monitored the growth of this site, watching it go from just a handful of us like Jaz, Ruben, Mando and Goldnrod. I notice I haven't gotten a feature in a while. That means I have to step it up & bring my A-brush before I come down on Jan. 1 2007. Until then I'll be dropping two more times this year. It's time for me to stop playing. I see the highest some of y'all get is 8 on the top 100 & then y'all fall off. Don't give up-move up!!!

Once again Cliff has another project - this 1970 V-W bus. First, he wanted Ed Hardy-style art on it, then tribal art. Next thing I knew, I was cut out of the picture altogether until it was so-called finished. It ended up looking like a mustard and orange toaster,so Cliff suggested adding a sliver tribal band around the damn thing. "Do you want me add a little black to it" I asked? He said "no",so I simply did what he wanted, knowing he wouldn't be satisfied and that he'd be back. Well, I was right! When he saw the bore that his monster had become, he uttered those two words I love to hear..."FREAK IT"!! With a visit from old friend Kush, an ipod full of real hip-hop and thoughts of my grass roots, conditions were right for the perfect storm of a spontaneous act of hip-hop to occur.

Here's some stuff I've done (well not all of it). I didn't do the hello kitty shirts-just fixed them the best way I could after someone else sprayed them. I got the pants (that was the 1st time some told me to "make it like the same artist did it don't make it like you know you did it"). Also a couple quick tags and a portrait...

But he tried to be slick and go around back to make a deal 2 drops for 200...so I did them like throw ups . . .quick tags, few colors...

I haven't had a chance to do the year-end best of me. I've been hard at work moving the shop and working on other projects. I didn't have the time until now. Normally, I only add stuff that has been featured or voted for, but last year I had just one feature so I had a couple friends pick the ones they like...

I didn't think I would have any features at all, let alone a "Best of 2008". To keep it real, I didn't think I could do a best of any year. So I still added a few pics that I thought were worthy like this back drop & LeBron & Randy's Bikes. But some thought I was good or creative or maybe that pic had that "it" factor. Whatever it was, I thank all who took the time to look at my galleries and my peers who featured me. Thank you!! Each feature and comment means a lot, especially when it comes from those who paint...MAY THE CREATOR BLESS YOU & KEEP THE AIR ON FOR HE\SHE HAS MADE THE AIR FOR US TO SPRAY!!

More busted work from yours turly. You might ask yourself why someone would show their busted. Well, it started last year when I was wondering whether GOD ever has a bad day. GOD, the artist of all known and unknown creations to man and what ever else is out there. Imagine . . . .GOD having a bad day ? And . . . oh yeah, some airbrushes were harmed in the making of some of these projects.

Chillin in myspace last Friday. Got restless. Thought of brushin' something, but what? So I looked at my friends list, rolled the dice & used the number it landed on to count to a friend on the list. Ended up on Charity Luv, so I did a portait of her. Next thing I knew she emailed me back needing a shirt for a photo shoot Saturday. Well I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

It's too bad that these are the best pictures of this car. Now this project was some straight bull manure.1st, the car came in as a victim as domestic violence. From the story as told to me and from what I've seen on the car,the owner's girlfriend had beat, beat, beat, beat the car up with a hammer. 2nd, Sean's constant bulls#!*, and 3rd the Chicago Bulls stencil didn't wanna stick. 4th after finishing, Sean wipes down the car and smears my paint and pulls the red into the white of the horns (not just that one time but twice). 5th no one wants to listen to the man who's doing the work on how to do whats best for paint work on the hood,so I had to paint it a$$ backwards. 6th Jezzy comes to town knowing the car needs 2 or 3 days to be done, but Noooo...he had to go stunt for the Jezzy show & didn't get to put the pin-stripe on it,and half a$$ put together by the owner's friends who had pissed off Sean's crew by saying some smart a$$ $#!t to them so they left them to do it. They got it together the best way they knew how.

I've done a lot of stuff this year, but the year is soon coming too the end & I've noticed that I have not gotten many looks on my posts or none at all. Much of that is due to this site growing to 500 artists, so if you're not on your "A" game, it's easy to get looked over. Well, I hope that you take the time to take a look at this bike. I had a lot fun doing this project. It wasn't for any customer but for me & a friend. Many folks who have seen this bike in person swear up & down that the logos are stickers and the wood is vinyl. WRONG!!It's ALL paint, even the wood! The only thing not paint is the gold, which is gold leaf. My friend Rodney (who owned the bike frame) the basketball vavle stem caps. He beat me to them...GO CAVS!! Oh yeah---M.I.A. Made In Akron.

I've been trying to get this car on here for a minute now. The only pic I have on this is in the "Love It or Leave It Alone" gallery. The car was unclear and hard to see. Jay got in contact with the owner, Paul,& asked him to bring to the car show. That's when I got the pic I've been waiting for...

I got to the shop today, turned on the computer, logged onto the net, check my email & saw that I had a new comment on AirbrushArtists that reads like this... "nice freak art....never thought your gallery stands at 2nd places of the top 100 airbrush artist??this is unfair!!i saw ur art so many times...and most of yours looks like kindergarden's art...it's a shame...how come others people look onto your galleries and judging your page that's stands at the 2nd place on this top 100 airbrush artist page?? and what did they said about airbrush?? or artist??there is hundreds of talented airbrush artist in this page...why this should happends??? think??? so u must be a great artist...and people can judge others...." Wow sounds like someone is salty . . . pissed even. Yeah, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the best and that maybe some of my features shouldn't be featured. And yes, some of my s#!t does look like a 5 year old did it. But I thank all who support me and I thank you for your comment.

I did this at the end of last year. When it got to Sean's shop, it had 5 bullet holes in it on the drivers side. Originally, the owner wanted 2 40 cal. Magnums crossing the hood but Sean talked him into this idea. The car took so long to complete, but not on my part with the art. The snow had started a few hours before. As soon as the mofoe was finished (it was midnight New Year's Eve), the owner backs out of the shop & proceeds to doing donuts in the lot. Wasn't able to get better pictures of the damn thing thanks to the owner for getting himself in trouble with the law...

Some times I think back to a simpler time when Ole Ronnie pissed on us like R. Kelly with his "tinkle on us economics". Also the time Ron and his boy Ollie cooked up the King Alfred plan a.k.a. REX 84 and help bring jobs in my community with CRACK. I remember people losing their jobs at Goodyear and Firestone, rollin phat rides, dressed fresh 2 def, big dookie gold rope chains. Plus the hoods helped Iran out. And how can I forget Star Wars without Darth Vader? No Luke Skywalker nor Yoda, not even a Death Star. Can you believe the president of the United States of America, the most powerful nation in the world, cuts education which in turns causes the Akron school board and other inter-city school systems to be cut out of funding for the arts? America, where at the tender age of 7 I find myself racking (pilfering)spray cans at Big Lots. For Ronald can make a Star Wars without at least 1 x-wing fighter...and some say the Gipper was the greatest president ever.....and I'll say 'BULL$#!* THATS NOT GANGSTER Gangster lishious.

4-8-2008 was the last time I posted anything. I didn't have anything worthy to post, just corny, cheap. anybody-can-do-in- their-basement projects. But didn't really have the time of my own thank too the B.S. I have to do to pay the bills. So here you go. For you, my blue flames. 3layers of fire. A Monte Carlo SS stencil, two #3 stencils, two NASCAR stencils and one INTIMIDATOR stencils. I had fun (haven't had too much of that lately). As usual, I'll get you more pics when the owner finishes up his ride...

I don't normally like doing commercial projects and I had my doubts about this one. But as I got into it, it became fun (looked phat to me!!). The paint used was Dupont Blue Base covered in Ice Pearl graphics. Createtext Auto Air Paint used for the base of the graphics and some cheap ass candy paint given to me by the owner to put over the candy and fruit pieces. This car was a nightmare. First of all, the painter was bull$#!tin me about the money (gave me half the money to start). Well it took me 3 weeks to finish it all because of a lack of money. And at the time I had a job where I had to get up @ 4:00am to get to my job @ 6am work only to work until 4:30pm. I would get tthe car by 5:30 plan to work on it from 5:30 to 9 o'clock but work doesn't start until money hits my hand. Some days, I wasted waiting for the money.I was held captive and sometimes would not see my bed until 12am or 1am, then having to get up and start all over again at 4am.

This is a project that went wrong. The owner of this deck-lid (a.k.a. trunk) wanted a Hurricane Katrina picture done. "Money is no object" he said. I had done work for him before so I thought nothing of his statement, but boy was I wrong!!! Money was definitely an object.

I know this has happened to you guys, too. You workin in the zone when someone comes in, walks up to you, and these words spill from their grill, "How much somethin cost to spray-paint?" Isn't that one of the dumbest, yet most asked questions? 1st thing- WHAT do you what air brushed? 2nd thing- SPRAY-PAINTING is something I only do on trains and some walls when I feel like a kid sometimes

My parents had me when they were 19 years old. For 4 years, I was an only child. One of my earliest memories was of my mother and my aunt cookie on the phone, drawing faces and flowers on or in the phone books. I never told anybody this. Around age 4, I can remember going into the cedar closet my mom and aunt shared and finding my aunt's oil painting kit. I grabbed the ultra-marine blue, opened up the tube, put some on my finger and tagged my nickname on the wall. With that fresh sweet oil paint smell permeating the air, I placed a small amount on my already blue stained finger tip and tasted the oil paint. It wasn't too bad . . . but it wasn't that good either!

Hi my name is DeMynnga (De.Ming.Ga) Born October 25 1975 in the city of Akron, state of Ohio. At school, I stayed in art class. Even flicked other classes (some that I needed like math & others i didn't like gym). Started drawing at the age of 4, doing graffiti at 7, got good at it at 9. After many tests, I was told by doctors that I have A.D.D. & dyslexia. By then, a lot of damage had been done. The other kids & some teachers had helped me go into a shell & there, I made my own world comfortable with art. All my art teachers loved me (the only time that I would somewhat be their pet). I still gave them hell, fighting over those things that a young artist and their teacher would get into it about. I never won. In 1995, I went to the Art Institute of Pittsbrugh. Although I didn't finish (ran out of money), I began the journey from that point of teaching myself the many disciplines of art...

I did this car back in 2003. It went thru many changes and paint upgrades. I would like to thank Ciff at C&J Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to get up on his rides, the first one being the hulk back in 2001. Also, thanks to my good friend of 10 years James, who got me in the door to airbrush cars among other things.
