Airbrush Ash's Gallery

Posted by AirbrushAsh on 5/16/2007
Hello my name is Ash Carver. I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I have been airbrushing for about 4 years, and I hope to open up my own airbrush/sign business soon. I love to paint anime mostly, and pictures that show movement.

Step by step Magnacarta - Airbrush Ash

Step by step Magnacarta - Airbrush Ash

I thought I'd include a step by step of this piece because a: I actually remembered to take the pictures as I was going, and b: I found other step by steps very useful when I was learning to airbrush. I was always going over certain colours and parts twice because of overspray, or just not doing them in the right order.
I used Auto Air acrylic base coat paints as this dries very quick and Iwata H-BC airbrush. Most is freehand with the use of hand held spray sheilds making life much easier. Anyway I hope this helps all the learners out there, and keep on practicing!
P.S. Sorry about the quality of the first half of photos, I only had a camera phone at the time!

Next is the fire, my first go at the 'true fire' style (Mike Lavelle). Not done with candys tho, just auto air red/orange/yellow. Turned out okay I think - takes a bloody long time to do. Next installment is soon.....
