This is a painting of a loved one who passed away from cancer a couple of months ago. Worked with opaque and transparent black from Holbein and Com-Art paints with a couple of Iwata Micron CM-SB airbrushes. Prepared canvas with 6 coats of Gesso.

I'm 50 years old and I started airbrushing in the spring of 2005. I work in an Architectural firm in downtown Montreal, Quebec Canada and I particularly enjoy working photorealistic art. I've been drawing ever since I can remember but this new airbrush experience is a blast and I see many hours of pleasure ahead!!! I have learned a lot on photorealistic paintings in a very short period of time and one of my objective is to share with others what I have learned as well as the many tricks associated with airbrushing thru some specialised airbrush classes that I'm presently putting together.
