Through my portraits I try to get attention for the global problems. War, oppression, abuse, poverty, child labour, lack of health care and a lot more.
Problems that have been present for centuries, but still haven’t been resolved. Problems that won’t be solved by leaning back. Problems that, while working on these paintings, make me realize that I have a very rich and free life and nothing to complain. Problems that I hope will ever be resolved so that we all, despite religion, status, race and possessions, can benefit from what Mother Earth and the technology has to offer.
